What is it?

A partnership between MN ABC and MN OSHA that mutually recognizes the importance of providing a safe and healthful work environment in the construction industry.  Look at this checklist to see if your company should apply.  Checklist

Why should my company join?

1.    To decrease your serious injuries, illnesses and fatalities on the job.  
2.    To develop a good standing relationship with MN OSHA that shows them your company is serious about keeping your safety program at a high level.
3.    To show your insurance company!
4.    For possible exemptions from inspections and fines.
5.    To show your clients and construction users!

How do I sign my company up?

1. Completing the current STEP application.
2. Notify ABC’s Safety Committee that you want to join the partnership.  
3. Review the checklist that describes what criteria your company’s safety program must meet.
4. Notify the ABC Safety Committee that you meet the criteria and you would like to meet to verify this.
