Monitors and responds to local, state and national legislative issues affecting the construction industry. Legally protects member contractors.

Promotes the stability, growth and quality of the chapter through increased knowledge of the association's services, programs and events.

Solicits and disburses campaign contributions to candidates running for state and federal offices who have demonstrated a commitment to the principles of merit shop construction.

Develops programs and services that increase safety awareness and procedures within the construction industry.

Selects the format and content of networking events and social functions. Produces the Excellence In Construction competition that provides business development opportunities for award winning companies. Also responsible for AQC and Chapter Award Programs.


The Committee supports the ABC strategic goal to continuously grow and deliver value to a diverse and committed membership. Utilizing a grassroots approach, the ABC Membership Development Committee creates a relationship built on principles of high trust and collaboration to deliver useful membership development events and services as determined by chapter need and in a data-driven, strategic manner.

Professionals in Human Resources offering knowledge, resources and support, allowing members to connect with others who are facing the same struggles and challenges they're facing, or who’ve been down that same road before.
