ABC's Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was designed to help contractors establish an organized approach for developing a company's safety and loss-prevention program. STEP includes objective methods to measure safety program improvements. In addition to fostering a safer work environment and lowering your workers compensation costs, your company can use ABC's safety performance recognition as an important business tool to attract and maintain clients. Companies can receive awards in the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum categories according to their company's safety performance. The Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. There's no charge for this valuable service, and of course, your responses are strictly confidential. The STEP program provides the following benefits:
* Provides an organized approach to analyze and further develop your company's safety and loss prevention program;
* Provides a valid, objective method to measure safety program improvements;
* Provides your company with safety performance recognition that can be used as an important business development tool with clients.
