Since its inception, the Construction Education Foundation of Minnesota (CEF of MN) along with its training partner the Associated Builders and Contractors of Minnesota have been committed to helping the construction industry train and make a better workforce.

The CEF of MN has officially been recognized by the State of Minnesota’s Department of Labor and Industry’s Division of Apprenticeship to meet all the requirements for an Association Sponsored Apprenticeship Program. The CEF of MN also promotes a scholarship program called “The ABC Family Scholarship” is sponsored by ABC Members: Lunseth Plumbing and Heating, Protouch Painting, Shingobee, Mid-States Mechancial, and Stotko Speedling Construction. In the past five years, several scholarships have been awarded to MN ABC member employees and their families to promote workforce development.

The CEF of MN is committed to offer training to its members. This 2008 CEF of MN Training Catalog offers classes and seminars in craft and apprenticeship training, on-demand training, continuing education training, management training, legal seminars and safety training. The catalog also provides information on the various programs the CEF of MN supports and assessment testing.

We look for the 2008 - 2009 training year to be another exciting year of development and growth. Through the CEF of MN we will continue to meet the needs of those desiring standardized training and other methods of training to strengthen and improve your workforce.
